OVERVIEW
The Research, Innovation and Development Cell of Emerald Heights College for Women is established with the prime objective of promoting Research Activities. The Cell scrutinizes and supervises Research Programmes offered by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. In addition to this, the Research, Innovation and Development Cell monitors and evaluates the Candidates admitted for Research Programmes in all the recognized departments of the Institution.
The Cell is constituted to encourage original ideas and socially profitable research by the faculty and the research scholars, with the Principal as the Chairperson, and senior academicians as members.
OBJECTIVES:
- To motivate and sustain research related activities including the efficient conduct of the research programmes, research projects, and research publications.
- To promote innovative thinking and pioneering proposals by organizing relevant activities
- To institutionalize the eligibility norms and conditions.
- To upgrade the research prudence by conducting Seminars, Conference and Workshops on Research Methodology, IPR and Entrepreneurship.
- To examine the progress of research programmes abiding by ethical and unbiased research policies of the University.
